Day 26 Astorga to Rabanal

A 24 Km day, mostly uphill from Astorga’s 875M altitude to Rabanal’s 1105M. Just a warm up as tomorrow I will reach the highest altitude of the whole trip at 1515M in just 10Km, so a steep few hours first thing.

Today was pleasant, 26C and the scenery starting to change as we enter a mountain range.

Good day for reflection as well. As I enter the last 12 days of walking, shifting to thinking about getting back into my life starting to happen. One of many thoughts is to keep things simple.
